The Roosevelt Network at UC Riverside is proud to be a member of the Roosevelt Network West Region. We join the likes of USC, University of Washington, and Seattle Pacific to name a few. We are also proud to join our fellow UC neighbors at UCLA and UC Berkeley in the larger West Region of Roosevelt chapters. The ability to network with the outstanding students at other colleges is what makes the Roosevelt Network so special. Our policy discussion does not just stop at our campus but continues to people across the nation who take a stand on the same issues and as future policy experts, we take every point of view into consideration. 

West Region Conference

This year’s Western Regional Conference was virtually hosted by USC from March 27th to March 28th. Roosevelt Network members from many of the Western Region’s Chapters attended to discuss a broad range of policy. Kevin Powers, a higher education advisor for the California State Assembly and Roosevelt Network alumni, spoke to the attendees about the complexity and inner workings of the policy process. As well, current Roosevelt Network members showcased their policy work at a showcase with the Northeast Roosevelt Region.
