Leadership

The organization shall be administered by an Executive Board that will serve as the backbone of the organization. The Executive Board is responsible for running the organization in an effective and dedicated manner. The Executive Board shall consist of an Executive Director, Operations Director, Communications Director, Finance Director, and the Journal Editor-in-Chief.

Meet the 2022-2023 Executive Board

Gavin Cho

Executive Director

Gavin Cho is a third year public policy student at the UCR School of Public Policy. Outside of school, Gavin works at the national level in a prominent youth-serving non-profit organization. Formerly, he served as UCR's campus coordinator for Pete Buttigieg's presidential campaign. Now, Gavin is excited to leverage these experiences to create meaningful change with the Roosevelt Network.

Jaelyn Gonzalez

Operations Director

Jaelyn is a Political Science student at UCR. She is currently researching voting patterns and misinformation in political media. She resides in Riverside and works with multiple non-profits in an effort to provide mutual aid within the Inland Empire. As a board member, Jaelyn aims to create a meaningful experience for all members of the Roosevelt Network at UCR.

Catherine Mah

Communications Director

Catherine is a first year Public Policy student at UCR. She currently works with Healthy Campus and The Well focusing on advocacy and health prevention. She will also be serving as an upcoming Dean's Brand Ambassador for the School of Public Policy. Catherine is passionate about social justice and is looking forward to continuing to cultivate a policy think-tank community through the Roosevelt Network.
